Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding has hit out at bandmate Nadine Coyle, and the Irish star's claims that she tried to prevent her bandmates ending the girlgroup's pop career.
After the 'Sound Of The Underground' chart toppers' final 2013 gig on their Ten tour, the girls thanked fans for their support during a decade of hits and called time on their career together. Following the announcement, Coyle tweeted that she has tried to prevent the split but 'couldn't stop them'. Now, blonde bandmate Sarah Harding has rubbished the claims.
"I was unaware she even felt like that. At no point did she try and stop us, so you'd have to ask her why she did that," Harding tells Look magazine in a new interview.
"We all had other things in the pipeline for after this tour and wanted it to be the biggest and best show we'd done. We'd rather do that than keep putting out more and more music every year and gradually waning, because music's evolved since we've been around," she added. "I'd hate to think we'd end on a bad note."

Coyle was blamed for Girls Aloud ending their time together on a sour note after telling Twitter followers: "You should know by now I had no part in any of this split business. I couldn't stop them. I had the best time & want to keep going."
"They have parted on terrible terms," a source told The Mirror newspaper. "The girls hadn't seen much of US-based Nadine until they reunited for the tour and now it doesn't look like they'll ever see much of her once she's gone back to LA.
"As soon as Sarah saw the tweet she called Nadine to say how angry she was. The tweet made it look like the girls went behind Nadine's back to make the decision.
"But the plan had always been to split after the tour. Nadine also felt the sharp end of Cheryl's tongue. Nadine's behaviour has left a bitter taste in everyone's mouth."
