N-Dubz' Dappy punched a fan in the face with a microphone at a recent gig, at the same night he claimed an attack by a man with a plastic glass could have been 'fatal'. See a video of the incident below.
The 25 year old just recently avoided going to jail on assault charges, but that doesn't seem to have any impact - as he apparently attacked the fan just five minutes into his set at the Play nightclub in Hereford.
The video shows Dappy being pulled away by a minder. He then stormed off stage as the victim was sent to hospital in a taxi.
Sophie Carter, who was at the concert, told The Sun, "He stopped singing, reached out into the crowd and smashed someone right in the face."
However, Dappy has claimed that he acted in self-defence, saying that the fan had a glass which he was going to smash in Dappy's face. He said, "I swung to disarm the glass from his hand. If that glass had hit me it could have been fatal."

Dappy was convicted of assault last month. He was given a six-month jail sentence, suspended for 18 months, and ordered to pay £4,500 in compensation and £2,000 in costs.
The conviction came following an altercation at a petrol station, which occurred in February 2012. Dappy once again claimed that he had acted in self-defence, saying on Twitter that the verdict "ain't right".
