Joan Rivers has once again hit out at Adele over her weight - and she's not pulling any punches.
Rivers said in an interview with HuffPost Live that Adele confronted her about previous comments that she had made on The Late Show with David Letterman, and asked for an apology.
Attacking Adele's weight on the show, Rivers had said, "What is her song? Rolling in the deep? She should add fried chicken!"
Rivers added that she overheard Adele saying, "'My throat, my throat, I don’t know if I can swallow!' I said, ‘'Oh, yeah - you can swallow!'"
In the interview with HuffPost, she appeared unrepentant. Rivers stated, "It was funny. She’s a chubby lady who’s very, very rich. She should just calm down - or lose weight.
"And she wanted an apology - so I took an ad out on her ass. I said, ‘You are not fat’, and then I had room left for a lot of other ads. Let’s face reality - she’s fat."
Rivers also hit out at Adele over Twitter when the star gave birth to her son, Angelo. Rivers wrote, "Congratulations to Adele on the birth of her 68 pound 8 ounces bouncing baby boy."

While Adele hasn't publicly commented on the feud, she's not short of defenders. US comedian Adam Hill stuck up for the 'Someone Like You' singer, saying, "If you make fat jokes about Adele, you’re being a d**k.
"And I’m referring to you, Joan Rivers. Get a plastic surgeon to manufacture yourself a new soul."
