Scottish rockers Garbage were in Detroit last week on their US tour, but Shirley Manson took the oppportunity to make the night extra special for one couple when she invited one fan on stage to propose to his boyfriend live on stage.
The frontwoman welcomed Scott and Dominic to the stage and thanked Dominic for his support when the band had a sick friend and told the crowd how Dominic had flown out to a benefit concert they held for their friend.
She then told how it was the two men had ended up on stage with her.
"So as it happens I was on my Facebook page yesterday, I was on the tour bus and I was going through messages as we do and we can't obviously answer everyone.
"But then I saw this message from your boyfriend Scott and he told me you were really super amazing, then he told me a few other things about your private life that probably I shouldn't know."
She then gave Scott the stage, who proposed to Dominic live in front of the audience.
Thankfully all went to plan and he said yes, bringing Manson to tears.
The couple explained that they knew they were perfect for each other when they met and discovered they both had Garbage albums.

The band recently revealed that their new album is due to arrive early next year, to avoid having another lengthy gap between their releases. There was a seven year gap between their last two records.
Producer and drummer Butch Vig told the Standard: "I think we want to get going quicker. We'd like to see a record come out next year.
"We gave a couple offers to play, but we may try to go into the studio in June and start working on another album."
The band are eager to get going in the studio and write new material.
"We don't really have any songs started yet," Vig admitted. "But we all have ideas for songs."
