Courtney Love is starring in a new web advert for electronic cigarette brand NJOY, in a surprising new move for the Hole frontwoman. See the advert below.
The singer-songwriter can be seen being told to stop smoking at a fairly regal looking event, to which she replies, "relax, it's a f**king NJOY."
The webisode is inspired by a real-life experience of Love's and looks to promote the fact the e-cigarettes can be smoked indoors as they produce a vapour rather than smoke. The singer has become the face of the NJOY advertising campaign and is likely to be the star in the forthcoming webisodes.
Fall Out Boy have recently hinted that Love could be making an appearance on their comeback album, Save Rock and Roll as bassist Pete Wentz tweeted, "wanna guess what blonde hair singer we got on the record?"
Later, the Fall Out Boy twitter posted "It's @Courtney, b**ch #SaveRockAndRoll." They included a video in which the Hole singer can be heard saying, "It's Courtney, b***ch," before the chorus "Rat-a-tat-tat, rat-a-tat-tat-tat!" kicks in.
