US star Frank Ocean has scored a headline festival slot this summer, being named top of the bill at Hove Festival in Norway.
Ocean will perform as a special guest at the Friday night of this year's Wireless Festival in London - as well as a headline gig at Brixton Academy in the same week on 9 July 2013. During his European visit, he will also make the trip to Norway for a headline slot at Hove.
"Frank Ocean has been on the top of our wish list for a long time and in many ways it is a dream come true," says Toffen Gunnufsen, Hove festival's head booker. "Frank Ocean is a groundbreaking artist and manages to cross the lines between genres and conventions – something that makes him a perfect artist for our festival."
Ocean tops the bill that also boats performances from Kings of Leon, Calvin Harris, A$AP Rocky, Phoenix, The Script, Crystal Castles, Bullet for My Valentine, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Modestep, The Luminners, Volbeat, 2 Chainz, Enter Shikari and Jake Bugg.
