Thom Yorke has admitted in an interview that he often thinks about splitting Radiohead up - and that the band are just waiting for him to do it.
Yorke is currently promoting his new band, Atoms For Peace, which includes Red Hot Chili Peppers' bassist Flea and Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich, which has led some to speculate about Radiohead's future.
In an interview on the radio show Here's The Thing, host Alec Baldwin said to Yorke, "I'll never forget McCartney said to me even the Beatles got tired of being the Beatles. Were there times when you guys sat there and looked at each other and said, 'I think we're done'?"
"I do that frequently - frequently. I mean at least..." Yorke responded.
Baldwin asked the frontman how the rest of the band felt about it, leading Yorke to continue, "Not as much. They just wait for me to do it. But it changes..."
He later explained that the reason he sometimes feels like splitting up Radiohead is just 'life', saying, "It's never really the music, it's always everything else. Just stresses of life, whatever."
Fans shouldn't be too worried, though, because Radiohead bassist Colin Greenwood recently confirmed that the band are ready to start work on their ninth studio album.

Speaking to BBC Radio 6, he said that although band members are currently busy with their other projects they have agreed on a start date for new album sessions.
"We're taking some time out whilst people are doing some other stuff, doing their own things, and the plan is to get back together [at the] end of the summer," Greenwood told the radio station.
