Gigs always leave a longer lasting impression when they're held somewhere special, and you can't get much more special than the top of a mountain.
Kasabian treated fans to an acoustic set at this year's Snowbombing Festival, held in Mayrhofen, Austria, wrapped up warm in their winter coats and in the shadow of snow-capped mountains. The band peformed a special, intimate gig at the Barclaycard Arctic Disco yesterday (4 April, 2013). Check out photos of the performance below.
The one-off acoustic set was held on a specially constructed stage just outside an igloo village, on front of an intimate audience of just 450.
Other fans of the indie rockers won't be denied an opportunity to see them, though, as the band take the event's main stage tonight (Friday 5) to play for the rest of the festival's attendees.
