Chart-topping rapper Wiley has walked out on record label Warner Music after a disagreement on what single should be released next from his current album.

The 'Heatwave' rapper announced his departure on Twitter, saying 'enough is enough' before deleting his tweets. Wiley previously leaked his album The Ascent online in protest to iTunes selling an version of the record with a different tracklist to the one the rapper intended.

"If my first two singles were dance and third was drum and bass, why am I doing a dance single fourth?" Wiley said regarding his Warner music. "My musical mind is better than that."

"My label are doing [the song] Lights On next but I do not like that so you will not see me in the video," he continued, reports The Guardian . "I am walking out of Warner today.

[I've] rinsed majors for every penny … Need to put my own money where my mouth is now and stop pussyfooting around the industry. I have got time for [Warner] and I respect you but goodbye."

Wiley has been unhappy with his label's plans regarding his album, The Ascent

In March this year, Wiley used his tweets to reveal his plans to leak The Ascent, writing: "I am leaking my album at 7... Americans do it so I am doing it... If iTunes don't do what I say I am leaking the album at 7 and I am not joking... I made a mistake on the album I need to make a change if iTunes cannot change the mistake I will leak it......... today...."

He added, "I hate being an idiot but sometime people only listen when you ar being an idiot."
