Gary Barlow is reportedly in the middle of writing a West End musical based around Take That's rise to fame as he looks to extend his musical talents even further.
The Take That lead singer and award-winning songwriter is thought to be basing the musical around his band's experience of becoming one of the biggest boy bands in the world and has been recording songs with former Spice Girls songwriter Elliot Kennedy.
A source told the Mirror: "Gary's the happiest he's ever been in his career right now and loves being given the freedom to write music and take on different projects.
"He's really pleased that the musical has come to light and has loads of ideas to make it a West End hit."

Barlow has already written the music Never Forget which opened in London in 2008 and featured some of Take That's biggest hits.
Reports also suggest that the Take That singer could also be mulling over another solo tour after learning just how successful his previous tour was in 2012.
The source added: "He’s also being made some very attractive offers to do another solo tour this year, after promoters revealed that he could have sold the last tour out six times over."
