Adele is reportedly back in the studio, working on an 'edgy' follow up to her worldwide smash 21 with Arctic Monkeys producer, James Ford.
Although producer Ryan Tedder, who penned tracks for the superstar's last album, says there was no truth in the rumours last month The Sun has claimed that Adele is indeed recording a new album.
Tedder, frontman of OneRepublic alleged that there was no writing sessions yet but that he has "a couple of ideas".
Yet, reports claim that the Oscar winner is working with producers James Ford and Kid Harpoon on her latest effort. Simian Mobile Disco mainman Ford has previously worked with Arctic Monkeys, Klaxons and Forence + The Machine.
A source said: "Adele wants to move with the times and make her new record sound as edgy as possible."

There are also rumours that Robbie Williams has enlisted Adele's help for a duet on his upcoming second swing album. However, there has been no official word from the new mum on whether she has stepped back in the recording studio.
