The Wanted and One Direction have clashed once again on Twitter, with a new arguement having been sparked by comments made about X Factor.

One Direction member Louis Tomlinson posted a link on Twitter to an article about The Wanted's Tom Parker, talking about his failed X Factor audition.

Unsurprisingly, Tom responded, writing, "Yes, @Louis_Tomlinson, I don't need to call producers to beg my way onto a track over my "friends" #crybaby #loyalty #louisgottalent." He then added, "You were too busy "wowing the judges" with this," and added the video of Louis Tomlinson's audition.

The two continued to insult each other, with Tomlinson calling Parker "the biggest t**t on Twitter," and telling him, "You clearly spend too much time on Twitter."

Parker implied that Tomlinson was gay, telling him "#itgetsbetter," and later deleted all of his tweets to the 'Little Things' singer.

One Direction member Liam Payne also briefly got involved, telling Parker, "lets talk about your singing your amazing tone pierces my ears with every note :/"

The Wanted's Jay McGuiness, in turn, wrote a long tweet in response to the argument. "Dear @Louis_Tomlinson, please stop mentioning us in your gigs, we certainly no longer mention you and it's time to let dead dogs lie," he began. "Your passive-aggressive style of speaking makes me cringe, and I wish you'd either have the b*****ks of some of your co-workers to speak truthfully, or the class of the majority of them to be silent."

Looks like everyone's dreams for a One Direction/The Wanted collaboration have been cruelly dashed...

He continued, "I'm not sure what's happened since we saw you at the XFactor, but you've done a sterling job of becoming one of the most overrated, arrogant and not to mention insincere people around. Your shocking lack of talent will only be forgiven by lots of humility and no-strings-attached friendship among your band. Louis, don't measure your worth in followers or money, because they're fickle, and when they go you might just feel worthless."

It was lost on Tomlinson, however, who simply responded "this would be a lovely insight for your next book. You must have been a splendid student. Never forget you boys started this."
