X Factor boss Simon Cowell has confirmed plans to return as a judge on the UK version of the show - although has refused to reveal when that might happen.
The music mogul and king of all TV talent shows has discussed his love for the show, and revealed that there will be a number of changes when the show returns for its 2013 run on UK screens.
"There’s something about this show which is closest to my heart, so at some point I will definitely come back on it," Cowell says in a new interview with the Radio Times.
"The format is ten years old and any format that has lasted that long, if you want the figures to have a chance of going up, you have to change the format, because the inevitable result is if you don’t, they will go down.
"Every aspect of the show in some particular way. It will look like a slightly different show to one you have seen before."

The show is reportedly set for a number of big changes in 2013, with a return to intimate auditions - and that much rumoured change in judges line up.
Noel Gallagher is the latest name to be (again) linked with the show, but recent reports claim that Sharon Osbourne is the hot favourite to resume her role as a UK X Factor judge.
