The event describes itself as being "renowned for featuring some of the western plains’ of New South Wales’ finest sheep and cattle," and originally misspelled Daft Punk's name as Daft Funk at one point in their news story.
Tickets for the event are limited to 4,000 and lucky attendees will be able to follow the album launch by spending time at "the pet show, showgirl competition, cross cut saw competition, fireworks and much more."
However, those not lucky enough to get a ticket can also see the event online, as the Daft Punk launch is being streamed for fans to watch.
Despite the poster, the album launch won't be in Shoreditch, then
Narrabri Shire Mayor Conrad Bolton, said that the event would be "great for Wee Waa and fantastic for the shire," adding, "We thought getting senator Fiona Nash to open the show was a bit of a coup, but now our show program has been bolstered tenfold."
According to musicfeeds, the band picked Wee Waa after they found about "the CSIRO Australia Telescope and its array of satellite dishes."
