Miles Kane has premiered his brand new single, 'Don't Forget Who You Are', the title track from his upcoming second album. Listen below.
'Don't Forget Who You Are' was revealed on Zane Lowe's Radio One show last night (9 April 2013), where it was named his 'hottest track in the world'. The track and the album are both released on 3 June, 2013.
Kane has teamed up with Ian Broudie of The Lightning Seeds, who produced the album, and co-wrote tracks on the album with Paul Weller, Andy Partridge and Kid Harpoon. Speaking of his second album, Kane claims he was aiming for a 'glam-rock' vibe on the record.
"The one thing I wanted for the new album was that there had to be no fat on any of the songs. They needed to sound really lean," he says. "The blueprint for it, before I'd even gone for the rock n' roll and glam-rock vibe, was that it had to sound incredibly direct."
