Robbie Williams and Adele are not going to have a duet on Robbie's new album, because Robbie has revealed he is 'terrified' to ask her.
Rumours were recently spreading that the pair would be teaming up on Robbie's new album, which will feature big band songs, but the 'Candy' singer has put an end to the speculation.
Speaking to Ireland's RTE Ten, Robbie said, "She's my mate and I'm absolutely terrified to ask her! I haven't asked her and I won't be asking her because the whole world wants to sing with Adele right now.
"Her and my wife Ayda are really good friends and I'm really good friends with Simon, her boyfriend. We're good pals but I wouldn't ask Adele to sing on my record."
However, Robbie has confirmed that Michael Buble will appear on the album, as the two are going to sing a UFO-themed track together.
Adele won't be featured on Robbie's upcoming covers album
Adele could be busy working on her own album at the moment, as she is apparently starting the follow-up to her 2011 record 21.
According to The Sun, Adele has been back in the studio and is working with producers James Ford who has previously worked with Arctic Monkeys, Florence + the Machine and Klaxons, among others - to try and create an 'edgier' sound.
