Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin was a shock guest at Bristol's Thekla, when he took to the stage alongside Adam Green to perform a Beach Boys hit. Watch a video of the incident below.

The US pals performed a cover of the band's 1988 track 'Kokomo', with Green introducing Culkin to an apparently sceptical audience, who struggled to believe that the star on stage was indeed the child actor.

"We wanted to sing a duet for you, coming all the way from America," said Green as he introduced Culkin. "The Mac is back!"

The former Moldy Peaches star was performing tracks from his new collaboration with Binki Shapiro, who had fallen ill and was not at the Bristol gig.

Culkin shot to fame with movie roles in the late eighties and nineties including Uncle Buck, Home Alone and My Girl. His career faltered in the mid-nineties but he saw a resurgence in 2003 with his movie, Party Monster.
