30 Seconds To Mars have premiered a teaser video for their new single, Up In The Air. Check it out below.

The short video is light on actual music, with a brief electronic blast at the end of the 38 second clip the only hint at what the single might actualy sound like, but the video itself promises to be spectacular and surreal affair.

The video shows a spinning metal ring in a number of locations, before a flicker of images show glimpses of what else will be seen in the video - including lions, parrots, overweight women, soldiers and much more.

The 'Up In The Air' video is directed by Jared Leto, under the name 'Bartholomew Cubbins', his alter ego.

The track is taken from 30 Seconds To Mars new album Love Lust Faith + Dreams.

Speaking to MTV recently about the album, Leto said, "This is the first time I'm really talking about the album, and when you talk about these things it helps you put them into perspective. I just mastered it two days ago, and we're still toying with it, but it's been turned in and it's finished.

"I wrote and recorded about 70 songs for this album, and I think there's a feeling that all of us in the band have that, especially after touring as long as we did last time, that this is a really important album for us; it's a critical album for us."
