Kings of Leon have been announced to play a headline show for Glasgow Summer Sessions, at Bellahouston Park.
The concert is their only Scottish date so far this year, taking place on Thursday 15 August, and tickets are already available for the four time Grammy winners.
Geoff Ellis, CEO of DF Concerts & Events, said, "Kings of Leon really need no introduction - they are a phenomenal live act. Their sold out concert at Murrayfield Stadium in June 2011 was incredible and their Bellahouston show promises to be just as special.
"With two huge shows now announced and the special guests for both still to be unveiled, the first year of Glasgow Summer Sessions is shaping up to be a fantastic addition to the Scottish music calendar and we look forward to it growing over the next few years."
Glasgow Summer Sessions is a series of events including music and food, and promises to have a 'festival feel'. Eminem was also previously announced to play the event on 20 August, after Kings of Leon.

Kings of Leon are set to release their next album in September, and have spoken about being surprised by the 'youthful' feel to it.
Speaking about the record, bassist Jared Followill told NME, "I thought we were going to make a mature album but I'm amazed how youthful it sounds. It's like a mix of Youth and Young Manhood and Because of the Times."
He also told Rolling Stone last September, "We're just trying to have fun with it and just have a relaxed-type thing."
