A thirty second clip of Lana Del Rey's contribution to the Great Gatsby soundtrack, 'Young and Beautiful', has been posted online - listen below.
The soundtrack is already attracting a lot of hype - due to both Del Rey, and to Beyonce's cover of Amy Winehouse track 'Back to Black' - and now fans can listen to a preview of 'Young and Beautiful'.
The song starts with a relatively bare arrangement, showcasing Del Rey's voice as she sings, "Hot summer nights, mid-July, when you and I would forever lie / The crazy days, the city lights, the way you play with me like a child."
The music swells as she croons, "Will you still love me when I’m no longer young and beautiful?" - which seems to be a perfect fit for the story of Gatsby and Daisy.

Speaking about Luhrmann and her work on The Great Gatsby previously, Del Rey said, "It was an honour to work with Baz Luhrmann on his amazing adaptation of one of the most extraordinary books ever written.
"The movie is highly glamorous and exciting; Rick Nowels and I were thrilled to write the song for the film."
The soundtrack also features Beyonce and Florence + the Machine, and is being curated by Jay-Z.
