The Maccabees, Plan B, Emeli Sande, Jake Bugg and Olly Murs are among the big stars nomination for this year's prestigious Ivor Novello Awards. See the full nominations list below.
'Next To Me' by Emeli Sande, 'Two Fingers' by Jake Bugg and 'Laura' by Bat For Lashes are nominated for Best Song Musically and Lyrically, while 'Fitzpleasure' by Alt-J, 'Ill Manors' by Plan B and 'Pelican' by The Maccabees. A full list of nominations is below.
Emeli Sande will also go head to head with Coldplay and Olly Murs in the PRS for Music Most Performed Work category, against hits 'Paradise' and 'Dance With Me Tonight'. Emeli Sande was the biggest selling UK album artists in 2012, and the success of her debut album Our Version Of Events continues into 2013 as she is set to sweep music awards through the year.
The winners of the 2013 Ivor Novello Awards will be announced on 16 May at a London ceremony, held at the Grosvenor Hotel.
