Sharon Osbourne is set to make her return to the X Factor UK, and become the highest paid judge in the show's history, with Simon Cowell having reportedly offered the rock matriarch £2million to rejoin the show.
X Factor boss Simon Cowell will offer Osbourne a £2million contract to help boost the X Factor’s ratings which have fallen in recent years.
A source told the Sunday People: "Sharon will be an X Factor judge and it is only a matter of days before the deal is finalised.
"She is being paid a hefty sum of £2million as Cowell is desperate to have her on the show. She is also expecting to earn half a million more in book and publishing deals. There is no way she would turn down such a well-paid job."

It seems as though this year’s judges will be making a huge dent in Cowell’s wallet as former Pussycat Doll star Nicole Scherzinger is allegedly demanding a £1.5million deal which will be a huge increase on the £750,000 she earned during last year’s series.
The new judging panel looks set to include Gary Barlow, Scherzinger, Osbourne and mainstay Louis Walsh as 2012 mentor Tulisa Contostavlos is unlikely to return.
