Robbie Williams has admitted that he occasionally forgets that he's got a baby, but fortunately for him, his wife Ayda Field often comes to the rescue to look after their baby daughter Teddy.

The former Take That star's baby girl was born in 2012, but Williams admits to forgetting to bath Teddy when he has been left to care for his daughter without Ayda's assitance.

Williams said: "Some days I forget that I’ve got her but fortunately Ayda doesn’t. I can spend a couple of days and think, oh Jesus, I didn’t do bath time for the last two nights!”

The 39-year-old singer also revealed that they couple aren't afraid to argue with each other in front of their newborn and often openly insult each other with Teddy in the room.

He added: "Her mother’s mental in a brilliant comedienne kind of way. Me and the wife have a good line in being horrible to each other in front of Teddy.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if she turns out like Saffy from Absolutely Fabulous."

Robbie is currently working on his second swing album which will serve as the follow-up to his most successful solo record to date, Swing When You're Winning.

The singer has recently recorded a UFO themed track with Canadian crooner Michael Buble for the album and has reportedly asked Adele to feature on it as well.

Speaking of the track, Buble said recently: "It’s catchy and fun, neo-swing. One of the lyrics is ‘Soda pop, Yoda what?’ Robbie wrote it when looking at UFOs."
