Daft Punk collaborator Pharrell Williams thrilled fans at his Friday night (19 April, 2013) gig in Brooklyn, New York, with the first ever live performance of new track 'Get Lucky'. Watch a video of the performance below.

The star dropped the hugely hyped new track into his 16-song set at a solo show no less than three times, during a launch gig for HTC One on Friday, 19 April 2013.

Speaking of the collaboration, the NERD frontman told the crowd: "Man these guys that made this record, they're like so far beyond their time. I'm honoured to know those guys, those robots.

"Those guys we have a lot of incredible history together. So when they called me over the summer, I just remembered thinking one thing... Try to get lucky right?"

The track was released in full on Friday, 19 April 2013 and shot to the top of the iTunes chart immediately. In the official chart however, it was unable to beat new singles by Rudimental and Will.i.am, which entered at No.1 and No.2 respectively.

The single is the first release from Daft Punk's eagerly awaited fourth studio album, Random Access Memories, which is due for release on 20 May 2013.
