US star Kelis has teamed up with the man behind Beady Eye's second album, Dave Sitek, for her latest track 'Call On Me'. Listen below.

Kelis has reportedly signed with Sitek's record label, Federal Prism (according to US sources) and 'Call On Me' is the first track to be heard from her new deal with the iconic producer and label head. Kelis is believed to be planning to release two new albums in 2013.

The track ditches the dance-heavy sounds heard on Kelis' 2010 album Flesh Tone for a tribal, r&b influenced sound - and a whole load of brass. Dave Sitek also produced the track.

Kelis has made a name for herself as one of the R&B world's greatest outsiders, striving for originality since her 1998 debut album Kaleidoscope, and breakthrough hit 'Caught Out There'.

Former TV On The Radio star Dave Sitek is set for a big year in 2013, having produced the new Beady Eye album, with Liam Gallagher crediting Sitek for bringing a new focus to the band.

"Working with Sitek just opened something up in us," says Liam in a statement. "He’s without a doubt the best producer I’ve ever worked with, a real outlaw. He doesn’t give a f**k, no rules. We had a new-found focus when we were writing it. We got our heads down and got our s**t together – clear heads. None of that crap from the 90s. It feels like a really special record for us."
