Despite refusing to make any comments about tour plans in 2013 until recently, The Rolling Stones have claimed that they knew they would tour in 2012.
The band will tour America in May and June this year, before returning to the UK to headline Glastonbury and perform two huge shows in London's Hyde Park. The band announced their touring plans in April 2013, but the rock legends were already planning the gigs when they celebrated their half century together with gigs in London and New York last year.
"I thought we should continue doing this when the 50th anniversary came around," says Jagger in a new video premiered on US website Radio.com. "I kept hedging when people asked me, but I knew, the year before.
"Personally I start preparing about two months before the tour," adds Jagger. "I have to up my fitness level, start singing every day and doing some dancing. I practice in front of mirrors if I can in a dance studio."
