JLS fans have shared their inconsolable grief over the loss of the X Factor boyband, who have today announced the end of their five year pop career after a string of hit singles and albums.
JLS announced their split this morning on their official Twitter account and in an exclusive interview with The Sun newspaper, with each member posting a thank you message afterwards. However, fans unsurprisingly haven't taken it that well, and have been tweeting the account in order to let them know.
User @KayFemaleBreezy wrote, "your not serious, i hoped this would never happen but you have to grow as people and not just a team im devastated #JLSter."
"PLEASE DONT BREAK UP IM CRUING I FEEL SO EMPTY," said @authenticari, and @alicejlsx said, "why can't you just all take a BIG break..why put us all through the pain of you splitting up?:( x"
Another user hit the caps lock to tell Marvin, "FOR F**K SAKE WHY MARV!!!!!!???????!!! YOU SAID 10 ALBUMS 10 TOURS."
The band announced the split over their Twitter account this morning (24 April)

@suziebakerLM posted, "feel like someone has ripped my heart right out, why has this happened so soon Ast:'( you'll still ALWAYS be my favourite boy!!
However, it's not all bad - as another user pointed out, "why you all crying dont worry they will be back on the big reuonion in a few years! Yawwwwn."
