Ladbrokes are already offering odds that JLS will get back together in five years, saying that a reunion seems likely.
Despite the boys only announcing their break-up this morning (24 April), bookies are already saying that a reunion in five years will be odds on, and also taking bets on who the most successful solo member will be.
The odds are currently 4/5 that JLS will reunite before the end of 2018 which, given the fact that most of the past boybands have all reunited at some point, wouldn't be particularly surprising.
But when it comes to solo efforts, Aston Merrygold has an even chance of getting a No. 1 single, with Marv at 2/1, and JB and Oritse both behind at 4/1. There are also odds on JLS' upcoming greatest hits album Goodbye, with odds at 6/4 on hitting No. 1 in the album chart and 1/2 on a No. 1 single from it.
Fans shouldn't worry as it probably won't be long til the boyband return
"Everybody who’s in love with JLS need not worry as the odds suggest a reunion is on the cards," said Jessica Bridge, of Ladbrokes. "However, in the meantime we’re confident that clubs will be alive with Aston’s songs as a solo star."
Fans will be pleased to hear that, as many avid JLS fans have been sharing their distress at the split over Twitter.
"PLEASE DONT BREAK UP IM CRUING I FEEL SO EMPTY," said @authenticari, and @alicejlsx said, "why can't you just all take a BIG break..why put us all through the pain of you splitting up?:( x"
Break ups gone bad: let's hope JLS don't compare to these
