Liam Gallagher has reasserted that the Oasis split is the real deal and not a ploy to earn more money when they eventually reunite, saying it would take a multi-million pound figure for him to be tempted.

Both Liam and Noel have started their own projects since Oasis disbanded, Beady Eye and The High Flying Birds respectively, and have been in a number of public spats, but speaking to Q magazine, Liam explains that some still think they're biding their time until a reunion.

"Listen, it'll happen when it happens, but it ain't a f**king game - it's the real deal," he said. "I read a lot of people going, 'Oh, it's just blag, innit? So they can get some more noughts on their big f**king comeback'.

"But I'm still me and he's gonna be him. I ain't changing for a million f**king pounds. I might do it for £30million."

Liam also said he didn't think it would be drink or drugs that kills him, but rather working to hard at his music.

"I won't die of a drug overdose or a fucking drinking habit. I'll die of living and breathing and being in a band. It won't be over snorting a line off someone's head or drinking a daft drink. It'll be because I'm into it too much. I'll die of caring too much."

Beady Eye are appearing at V Festival and T In The Park this summer

That said, Liam was recently seen trying to ride a dog in a West London pub over the weekend after a drinking session involving champagne and whiskey.

Beady Eye release their second album BE in June.
