Arcade Fire members Regine Cassagne and Win Butler have had their first child together, a baby boy.
The baby - whose name isn't yet known - was apparently born on 21 April weighing seven pounds, and is now just over a week old.
Barry Mack, a friend of the family and a pastor at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Saint-Lambert, Quebec made the announcement to Le Journal de Montréal.
Mack made the announcement in French but according to Spinner, a rough English translation is, "It's good to see that they are still together and they now have a baby. It's a bit rare in the entertainment industry."
The band's touring violinist, Marika Anthony-Shaw, is reportedly also set to have a baby. None of the band members have addressed either pregnancy.

The Arcade Fire are currently working on their new album, which would be a follow-up to 2010's The Suburbs. They are recording at DFA's studios in New York, and could see involvement from LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy.
"Arcade Fire STILL with us at DFA," the studio tweeted last month. "This is going to be one great sounding album!"
