R&B star Kelis will perform an intimate London gig at the end of May to mark the launch of a new club night in London.
Kelis has been confirmed to perform at Camden's Proud Galleries at the launch of new weekly club night Get Lucky. The venue has already hosted tiny gigs by the likes of A$ap Rocky, Labrinth, Maverick Sabre and Orbital in 2013, and attracted celebrity guests including Nick Grimshaw, Reggie Yates, Caroline Flack, Laura Whitmore, Rizzle Kicks, Coldplay and Tinie Tempah.
Kelis scored one of her biggest chart successes in 2010 with her single 'Acapella' and returns in 2013 with new single 'Jerk Ribs' and a new album (rumoured to be titled FOOD), produced Dave Sitek - who has also produced the new Beady Eye album.
The track was originally reported as being called 'Call On Me', but Kelis has since explained the confusion and confirmed its title is 'Jerk Ribs'.

"Oh, it's not called 'call on me' that was a late night lapse in memory. Lol it's called 'jerk ribs'," she told fans.
