Deftone's have paid tribute to the recently deceased 90s rap star Chris Kelly by performing a cover of Kris Kross's hit single 'Jump'.
During their show in St Louis on Wednesday (May 1) the band worked the rap duo's mega hit into a performance of their own track 'Engine No 9'.
"We got word that a member of Kris Kross has passed," Chino Moreno told the crowd before launching into the song.
Kelly, half of the 90s rap duo famous for wearing their trousers backwards, was found unresponsive at his home in Atlanta on Wednesday (May 1) and was later pronouced dead at Atlanta Medical Center.
Fulton County police have since said they are investigating the death as a drug overdose.
TMZ claims to have obtained a police report which states Kally had taken a mixture of cocaine and heroin the night before his death.
Apparently the rapper's mother, Donna Kelly Pratt, told police her son had taken a 'speedball'.

Kris Kross were made up of Kelly, calling himself 'Mac Daddy', and Chris Smith who used the name 'Daddy Mac'.
In 1992 'Jump' propelled the pair to global stardom.
