Liam Gallagher has blamed brother Noel and Damon Albarn for 'the death of Britpop', saying their reconciliation was a fake gesture from the former rivals.
Noel Gallagher and Damon Albarn of Blur were photographed together at this year's BRIT Awards, and later performed together at Noel's Teenage Cancer Trust gig at the Royal Albert Hall.
Liam, however, is having none of the new friendship.
"What killed Britpop? The fucking fakest cuddle in my entire life, that's what fucking killed Britpop," says Liam in a new interview with the NME, for a special edition of the magazine on the subject. "Noel and Damon Albarn killed Britpop.
"Why? Because they thought they invented it, that's why. And when? You know when, ha ha.""
"I'm into the Teenage Cancer Trust, but that was bollocks. If you think that was genuine you must be living on the fucking moon," he added., "Why do I know that? Because I know my brother. That's how I feel. He's full of shit. I think Damon's alright. Graham Coxon sees right through it, but you know our kid. It'll be Robbie Williams next week."

Liam recently hit out at brother Noel for relying too much on the Oasis songs during his High Flying Birds live shows.
"We'll keep it as two because there's too many people loitering in the past. We can't be doing 10 of them in a set, we're not Oasis. Noel does quite a bit, but that's his f**king thing: splitting up Oasis and putting half the f**king songs in you f**king set, it's schizophrenic.
"If you want to play Oasis songs put the band back together and stop be a f**king gobsh*te."
