A karaoke loving American has become an internet star after performing Bon Jovi's 'Living On A Prayer' in a petrol station for The Jay Leno show. Watch a video of the incident below.

The host  of the segment titled 'Pumpcast News' spoke to the couple via a TV screen in the petrol pump, who were more than happy to perform in public for the Jay Leno show.

"I just sing karaoke," says the man, named as Will, when spoken to by Leno, who describes himself as 'an eighties kid' when asked about his musical preferences.

The man performed for the show in return for a free tank of petrol - only to be replaced by his girlfriend, who performs 'Sweet Dreams' by Eurythmics while he fills up the tank, much to the beweilderment of fellow customers at the petrol station.

The duo have become something of a celebrity couple in the US, and were later invited onto the show to discuss their newfound status - and of course, free tank of petrol.
