Rapper Dizzee Rascal has spoken about his relationship with Wiley after he said he'd never collaborate with the ‘Bonkers’ star again.
Wiley said recently that he would never work with Dizzee again because the breakthrough rapper “simply don’t care”, but the Boy In Da Corner star says the public don’t know the full story when it comes to the relationship between the two.
Speaking with Radio 1Xtra’s Twin B on his Breakfast Show, Dizzee said he didn’t have a probem with Wiley.
He went on to explain: “Target cared about me early, Wiley never cared about me early.
“Wiley eventually got me involved in the Roll Deep thing after I’d built a little name for myself. And it worked, we got on really well. I looked up to... Wiley, to Target, all them.”
But he continued: “I’ve actually not known Wiley longer than I’ve known him... I’ve seen Wiley maybe once in about seven years since back in the day and all that.
“So aside from the initial thing that sparked... me leaving, or them leaving as well, ‘cos there’s that side to it, there’s no problem. I haven’t had no problem.
“My thing is that... whenever someone speaks out about something, I don’t always come out just to correct everyone all the time, because I’d be doing it all day..”
Twin B then asked Dizzee, “What happens now? He’s... openly trying to reach out... and trying to make something happen.”
“That’s all great,” Dizzee replied. “But then the next minute when he’s not feeling me, then he goes on there and he has another rant and I’m a chief again... [and] people just take sides, and they don’t know what their taking sides for, they don’t know what’s going on.

“I hear things... he wants to work... that’s cool. But all I’ve ever done is just got on with things. Just because everybody thinks I should do something doesn’t mean that I should do it.”
Twin B later used the phrase ‘potential collaboration’ when speaking about the two, with Dizzee respondinging swiftly, “Stop saying ‘potential collaboration’. Why are you talking... there’s no collaboration... I know the people want...[a colaboration], but I’ve just got to do what I’m doing now, and he just do what he’s doing... It doesn’t mean I’ve got to have a problem.”
Yesterday Dizzee Rascal unveiled the new video for his collaboration with Robbie Williams, 'Goin' Crazy'.
