Daft Punk have made no secret of the fact that they love the anonymity that the robot helmets provide - the pair enjoy having secret identities, in fact. Very Clark Kent of them.
In fact, the duo told GQ, "I remember when I was a kid, I would watch Superman, and I was super into the feeling of knowing that Clark Kent is Superman and no one knows. We always thought as we were shaping this thing that the fantasy was actually so much more exciting than the idea of being the most famous person in the world."
Sadly, most stars these days don't feel the same - choosing instead to focus on the fame more than the music at times. There's no doubt that there are some artists we'd actually prefer to remain anonymous, or at least get to do without seeing their faces all the time.
