A new version of Daft Punk's No.1 hit 'Get Lucky' has surfaced online - this time featuring US rapper Pitbull. Listen to the new version below.

Quite frankly, the world needs another version of 'Get Lucky' like it needs another hole in the o-zone layer, but here we go again, and this one is one of the most jaw-dropping alternative versions to date. And not necessarily in a good way...

In the new version, Nile Rogers' sublime bass opening has the added talents of the US rapper, who declares "Mr Worldwide, Pharrell, Daft Punk" as the track opens - before delivering one of the most poorly judged guest spots in recent memory. We struggle to believe this is a genuine Daft Punk release.

The internet has been flooded with loops, remixes, cover versions and more 'Get Lucky' tributes since the French robot duo made their comeback earlier in the year.

Daft Punk's 'Get Lucky' is the most successful release of the duo's career - and the fastest selling single of 2013. The track has spent three weeks at No.1 (Daft Punk's first ever chart topper) and is set for a fourth week on the top spot this week.
