Daft Punk's Random Access memories might've been met with mixed responses after being leaked/streamed on Monday night of this week, but none are quite as comically cutting as the critique tweeted by Diplo.

Taking his 964,555 followers through his listening experience of the album, the ubitiquitous producer made his views clear. Well, clear-ish.

"This daft punk album would probably be really good to take drugs and listen to on a rainy bridge across the gulf of mexico but I dnt know," he began.

"Reminds me of when I was 19 really high and listened to kid a over and over again but I don't know if yung kids will get it," he explained.

He then showed some brief humility and respect for the dance duo, admitting: "These guys are way smarter than me. I'm definitely missing something. Gonna listen to this panda bear song again 10 times brb.!"

As he continued through the album his distaste with the duo's new sound returned.

"The song with todd edwards makes me feel like I'm alone at waffle house and the jukebox is broken and only micheal mcdonald plays out of it.

"When giorgio moroder made songs he wasn't thinking about it intellectually he was jus doin it.

"I think the song with julian casablancas would be better with marky mark walbergs character from boogie nights doing the vocals."

According to Diplo's Twitter post, the new Daft Punk album sounds like this.

To round up his feelings coming away from the album he wrote: "This album makes me not like LA now I jus wanna hang out with mexican kids and tag your car."

It wasn't just the collaborative tracks that he took aim at.

"Motherboard sounds like a coked up austrian guy working on chariots of fir soundtrack then got fired but i f**k with it," suggesting he may have found something to like in the record, or a sense of sarcasm.

His final thought about the album was, "The song with paul williams needs more sidechain and less ragtime barbershop quartet."

The robots possibly haven't found a fan in Major Lazer's main man.
