Prince has declared that he doesn’t ‘Have time for old people’ in a rare, lengthy interview with a local newspaper.
The singer made the statement when speaking to The Minneapolis Star Tribune, the publication of his hometown.
Speaking about ‘3rdEyeGirl’, his new young backing band he told the paper “I don’t have time for old people, I want to work with young people.”
He then justified his statement to the reporter by saying, “I have my legacy, now it’s time for their legacy. They’re a Minneapolis band, too.”
The ‘Purple Rain’ singer has reportedly recorded enough material with the band for a new album, which is set to come out through the Kobalt Music Group later this year, whilst a new video from Prince himself is expected to hit the web in the coming weeks.
