We're amazed it took so long for Noel Gallagher to get around to One Direction, if we're honest. The outspoken rocker isn't shy in voicing his opinions, and this week (16 May, 2013) hit out at the boyband on the red carpet of the Ivor Novello awards.
The High Flying Birds star, who won an award for Outstanding Song Collection, told NME that the only reason he attended the event was because the X Factor boyband hadn't been invited. Ouch.
But, obviously, Gallagher isn't the first to air his dislike for 1D, with stars including Kasabian and Van Halen previously speaking of their dislike for the 'What Makes You Beautiful' chart toppers. No one comes close to Jake Bugg however, who, in early 2013, seemed to criticise the boyband every time he opened his mouth.
So, as Gallagher finally speaks his mind on One Direction, see who else has said what against One Direction...
