Despite placing a poor 19th in this year's Eurovision Song Contest, UK entrant Bonnie Tyler has revealed she isn't feeling down about her loss.
The Danish entry Emmelie De Forest beat off competition from 25 other European countries, picking up 281 points to win with her song ‘Only Teardrops’. The bookies had De Forest as their favourite to win ahead of the contest.
Last year’s host country, Azerbaijan, came second, followed by Ukraine in third, Norway in fourth and Russia in fifth.
The UK’s entry, Bonnie Tyler, failed to make much of an impact and finished in 19th with just 23 points with her song ‘Believe In Me’.
But Tyler’s not feeling too bad about her results, as she still did better than Britain’s 2012 entry Engerlbert Humperdink, who wound up finishing second from last.
“I got the feeling tonight that I got at the Grammy awards,” Tyler told reporters after the event.

“I’m sure a lot of people will be disappointed on my behalf but I have really enjoyed my Eurovision experience. I did the best I could do with a great song. I don’t feel down and I’m ready to party.”
Tyler had previously expressed doubts about her ability to compete with other acts ‘stripping off’.
