The Daft Punk collaborator best known for singing ‘One More Time’, Romanthony, died earlier this month, it has been confirmed
The house producer, real name Anthony Moore, reportedly died at his home in Austin, Texas on May 7.
His death was confirmed by a Facebook post from his sister Mellony Moore on May 9, Billboard reports.
Friends and collaborators of the musician have taken to social networking sites to express their sadness at the news of Moore’s death.
Boys Noize wrote on Twitter: “it is so sad :( Romanthony and me were working on such an amazing song together. he said it was the best song he had ever written :(.”
Romanthony released his debut album Romanworld in 1997, and a followup called Instinct two years later.
He’s perhaps best know for appearing on ‘One More Time’ with Daft Punk in 2000 and also appeared on Discovery album track ‘Too Long’.

His most recent release was a collaboration with Kevin McKay on single ‘The Wanderer’ released this year.
His last album R.Hide In Plain Site was released in 2000.
The cause of Romanthiny’s death is as yet unknown.
