Maroon 5 postpone summer UK and Europe tour to early 2014

US soft-rockers Maroon 5 have postponed their summer live shows in the UK and Europe until 2014, blaming scheduling conflicts for their change of plans.

The US band were due to perform in the UK and Ireland in June 2013, before visiting cities across Europe on their scheduled live dates. The band notified fans with a post on their official website, blaming 'scheduling conflicts' on the postponed gigs.

Frontman Adam Levine apologised to fans for the change in tour plans, writing: "We are truly sorry for any inconvenience we have caused our European fans and promise that when we come over in January we will put on a show to remember!"

The affected UK shows are as follows:

Birmingham LG Arena - 22 June
London O2 Arena - 23 June
Manchester Arena - 26 June
Glasgow Braehead Arena - 27 June
Dublin O2 Arena - 29 June
