A driver who witnessed George Michael's recent M1 accident has revealed how the singer was left lying in the road and covered in blood after falling from a car travelling at 70mph.
Driver Katherine Fox has revealed how she was forced to swerve to avoid the troubled singer, who she claims was covered in blood and lying on the road after the high-speed incident.
"He was lucky he didn’t die," says Fox in an interview with The Sun newspaper. "There was a nasty cut on his forehead and the back of his head. There was blood all down his face and on his teeth.
"He was breathing and conscious but in shock."
George Michael was airlifted to hospital for further treatment after sustaining head injuries. Fox claims she attempted to aid at the scene before emergency services arrived to treat George Michael and others injured.

"I asked what had gone on and was told he tried to open the car door and shut it again because it wasn’t shut properly and apparently fell out at 70mph," she added. "I was on the phone to the ambulance and said, 'You’d better come quick. This doesn’t look good'."
George Michael's boyfriend, Fadi Fawaz, confirmed after the incident that that the singer was 'good' and recovering in hospital.
