Former Destiny's Child star Kelly Rowland and Latin singer Paulina Rubio have been confirmed as replacements for Britney Spears and LA Reid on the 2013 series of X Factor USA.
The female stars will join Simon Cowell and returning judge Demi Lovato, when the show returns to screens later this year.
Kelly Rowland previously appeared on the British version of X Factor, and mentored singer Amelia Lily in the contest. The 'Dirty Laundry' singer has spoken of her excitement at returning to a TV talent show role,
Rowland says in a statment: "I am very excited to be reuniting with Simon Cowell and The X Factor family. It feels great to be able to take this journey here at home in the states!"
Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato will also return to X Factor USA in 2013
Cowell has also spoken of his joy at the newly announced judging panel, but mostly at being joined by three female judges.
"It’s taken more than a decade but I’m delighted to finally be on a panel with three girls (I think!)," he says.
"Paulina and Kelly both have great taste and massive experience in the music industry and, together with Demi, this is going to be a fun panel. It just feels like the time to do something different."
