Crystal Fighters have shared their new album, Cave Rave, online ahead of its official release on 27 May 2013. Click here to listen to the full stream on Hype Machine.
The album is a follow-up to their critically acclaimed 2010 debut, Star Of Love, and includes new single 'You & I'. The album follows in the footsteps of its predecessor and is packed with uplifting festival anthems that will bring the summer to life - not least during their headline slot on the Festival Republic stage at Reading & Leeds festival this year.
Speaking of the album, singer Sebastian Pringle told Gigwise that the band learned from their first album when it came to recording the second, and intentionally focused on more upbeat tracks when recording Cave Rave.
"The last record was a mixed bag with lots of different sounds and we realised the uplifting songs were the songs that felt good to us to play and were the ones fans seemed to like," said Pringle. "The uplifting songs were good at festivals and good at gigs and genuinely felt like you didn't want them to end. That was the feeling we tried to keep with us when we were writing the record."

The album was initially slated for a release at the start of 2013, and the band had always planned to release Cave Rave before festival season.
"We definitely wanted it to be out before summer," Pringle added. "It was supposed to be out in January originally but gradually it got moved back but we always wanted to get it out before summer for sure."
