Muse kicked off their UK stadium dates with a hit-packed set and dazzling new stage show at Coventry's Ricoh Arena last night (Wednesday 22 May) - see footage below.
Renowned for their over-the-top stage shows, their new live up features giant flamethrower chimneys and a vast wall of LED screens showing the usual sci-fi imagery including robots, aliens and even a dancing Barack Obama.
With a mammoth 26 song performance, Muse's set was heavy on material from latest album The 2nd Law, but also dipped into their back catalogue to treat fans to rarities and lesser-played tracks.
Among them 'Sunburn' from their 1999 Showbiz, the 2002 stand-alone single 'Dead Star' and a cover of Lightning Bolt's 'Dracula Mountain'.
