One Direction fans are gearing up ahead of the ticket rush for their 'Where We Are' tour this weekend - but ticket agency Viagogo claim that over 500,000 will left 'empty handed'.
The highly-coveted tickets go on sale on Saturyday 25th May at 10am, and the tickets sales site states that they've already experienced an overwhelming demand from around the world.
A Viagogo spokesman said they the've registered 'over a million ticket searches by fans from Bradford to Beijing'.
"With just four UK dates and an average of 66,500 tickets available per performance, the site is predicting that over half a million fans will be left empty handed at the box office,"they said.
"If everyone who has searched for a ticket so far were successful, Wembley stadium would be filled 14 times over."
Hundreds of thousands of 1D fans could be disappointed on Saturday
Steve Roest from Viagogo added: “One Direction is the most popular boyband on the planet, and following their much-hyped new tour announcement we predict that tickets for the 2014 tour could sell out in as little as 10 minutes.
"It seems fans are prepared for a battle to get their hands on tickets which explains why we have had hundreds of thousands of registrations across our international websites before tickets have even gone on sale.”
One Direction's Where We Are Tour sees four UK dates and two Irish dates in May and June.
Tickets go on sale at 9am on Saturday. For information visit the Gigwise gig ticket website here
