As the world continues to wait forever for another solo album, a new track has appeared from Pharrell Williams from the soundtrack to Despicable Me 2 - listen below.
'Happy' is a bright and breezy summer number - perfect for the sunshine and the ideal accompaniment to the upcoming kids' movie.
While the N.E.R.D and Neptunes star has recently been topping the charts with the likes of Daft Punk, Pharrell hasn't released a solo album since 'In My Mind' in 2006.
Pharrell is currently enjoying huge success with his Daft Punk collaboration 'Get Lucky', which has spent a fourth week at No.1 in the UK.

While Daft Punk denied Pharrell's claims of a tour in 2014, he has also recently been working with Kylie Minogue.
