Katy Perry has apologised to Cheef Keef after a Twitter erupted with the rapper threatening to 'smack the sh*t out of her'.
The spat took place after the 'Firework' singer mentioned hearing his song 'Hate Bein' Sober", which caused her to have "serious doubt for the world."
This caused Keef to then launch a tirade of abusive tweets - including "I'll beat the sh*t out of her" and "dat b*tch Katy Perry Can Suck Skin Off Of my D*ck".
Perry then took to Twitter to apologise, posting "Mr. Keef! I'm sorry if I offended you. I heard a lot of people guesting on the song & didn't even know it was you in particular. Actually.." continuing "I'm a fan of your 'Don't Like' video tbh. I was really just having a general opinion on our generations desire to be constantly intoxicated."
She added: "Believe me, I'm a lover not a hater. x"

Perry recently faced criticism from someone closer to home, when her father labelled her his 'devil daughter' after attending one of her live shows.
"They ask how can I preach if I produce a girlwho sang about kissing another girl?" said reverand Keith Perry during a sermon in Santa Fe Springs. "I was at a concert of Katy’s where there were 20,000. I’m watching this generation and they were going at it. It almost looked like church."
"I stood there and wept and kept on weeping and weeping. They’re loving and worshipping the wrong thing."
